Year 4 Metal Mayhem

Year 4 performed a wonderful assembly this morning all linked to their Learning Journey and the core text The Iron Man. They also sang beautifully, accompanied by Mr Cappuccinni on the guitar. Well done and thank you Year 4!

Apologies to Football Team

I wrote last week about the football tournament and mistakenly said it was the boys team when in actual fact it was a mixed team. So I do apologise to the team for my mistake

Under the Sea with Year 5 and Year 6

Year 5 visited the Sealife centre today as part of this term’s Learning Journey. They wanted to investigate sea life under the sea. Year 6 are visiting the Sealife centre on Monday to find the answers to their sealife questions.

Today we have been fundraising for cancer research by wearing pink or blue. If you were not aware of today’s fundraiser but would like to donate please leave a donation at the school office. Unfortunately the day has not been advertised in the Friday News, but a text has been sent to you all to highlight the day.

Parents Evening

Thank you to all those parents and carers who came along on Tuesday and Wednesday to meet with their child’s teacher. If you were not able to make it on those evenings but would still like a chat with the teacher please arrange an appointment directly with the teacher.

On Time Ted Winners

This week’s winners will be announced in next week’s Friday News.

Congratulations to….

Finley Plant in Reception who has achieved his Brown and White belt during the Mini Ninja’s grading day at the University of Brighton. Finley achieved this, his third belt on 10th October. Well done Finley!

Please use….

Please use the Friday News forms for messages you wish to have added to the Friday News. The forms will ensure you supply all the relevant information needed. The forms are located in a box by the office reception desk.

Please leave…

Please leave the school grounds at the end of the day rather than allow children to play on the play equipment and run around the playgrounds. I have had a few complaints about children causing one or two problems and who appear to be unaccompanied but in actual fact their parents are chatting elsewhere.

Half Term Break

We close for the half term break on Friday 22nd October and return on Tuesday 2nd November.
