Fabulous Christmas Shows

Absolutely fantastic! I didn’t think our Christmas shows could be even better, but Tuesdays performances proved me wrong! Both shows were amazing; the performers were brilliant and the singing from everyone was loud and proud. Well done to everyone and those of you who had to sing and had narration and dialogue to speak I am in awe of you!

Swimming Begins..

Year 5 begin their swimming sessions on Monday 9th January.

Positive Parenting Sessions

There will be a new group starting on Wednesday 25th January 9.30 – 11.30 at Carlton Hill Primary School. The group provides support for specific issues and general helpful tips for supporting your child. The focus for this group is on children in Year 5 and 6. Tyus who has achieved his second yellow belt in Nam Pai Chuan Kung Fu. Well done Tyus!

Sophie in Year 5 who has achieved her grade 2 in piano. Well done Sophie!

Ellie, Kaddy and Scarlett from Year 3 who have completed their lunchtime hall buddy training. Well done Ellie, Kaddy and Scarlett!

Bethy in Year 1 who has achieved her stage 3 swimming award. Well done Bethy!

Callum in Year 3 for achieving his one mile swimming award! Wow! Well done Callum!

Not Quite Goodbye

Mrs Jones will be returning briefly after the Christmas break before going on maternity leave. Mrs Jones baby is due at the end of January. Mr Smart will be taking over as acting deputy and SENCo and will take up his new role from our first day back.

One or two children are moving on and saying goodbye to Middle Street today. If you are leaving us we wish you all the best and good luck in your new school. We’ll miss you.
