Many thanks to Nick Sharratt for giving up some his time to join us for this special celebration assembly.

Little Canada and Year 6

The children will be having their class photos taken on this coming Monday.

Health and Safety Message

When you have collected your child at the end of the day please could you ensure they do not come back into school. This is because teachers are worrying that certain children are returning unaccompanied and are putting themselves at risk. It also makes it difficult for the teacher to be sure who has or has not been collected. They worry about the safety of the children which, I am sure you understand how stressful this is when there are so many people around and the gates are open at the end of the day.

Please could we ask that that all parents and children leave the school grounds by 3.30 and not use the play equipment in the front playground. We need to ensure the premises are secure and it is hard to do this if parents are still in the school grounds. Thank you for your co-operation.

Possible Strike Action

There is a strong possibility that members of Unison will be on strike on the 16th and 17th July. We may not have enough staff to open on those dates so pleased be warned of a possible school closure. I will let you know as soon as possible the final decision.

School Association Update

The final amount raised at the School Summer Fair is £3821! Thank you to everyone who came along on the day, bought raffle tickets or contributed in another way it is down to you that we have raised so much money. Well done everyone!

Congratulations to…

Monica Marshall in Year 5 who has achieved the 5th grade in White Crane Kung Fu A grade. Well done Monica!

Mason and Kyle Bohannan and Ella Scott who took part in the ‘Run for Children’ on Saturday at Preston Park. All three children did very well and won medals. Well done Mason, Kyle and Ella!
