You will have received a letter about tickets for the Christmas shows taking place on Tuesday 18th December. If that letter has not arrived home please ask at the office. Brighton and Hove Schools Christmas Carol Concert

Our school choir performed brilliantly at the Brighton and Hove schools Christmas concert. The children joined over a 1000 other children to sing some of the old traditional favourites and some new festive songs too. Middle Street children were of course brilliant and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Christmas Dinner

Next Wednesday the 12th December is Christmas dinner day. Children will have crackers, a delicious festive lunch and music to sing along to.

Learning Journey Celebrations

Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6 are celebrating the end of their learning journeys on Friday 14th. Invitations to parents and carers have been sent home.

Key Stage 2 Drama Club Assembly Performance

Children who attended the after school key stage 2 drama club will be performing in assembly on Monday 17th December. Parents and carers of those children are invited to watch the assembly.

Christmas and Winter Afternoon Tea

Our annual festive celebration takes place on Thursday 13th December from 3.00. There will be tea, festive cakes and lots of activities to join in with. Raffle tickets will be on sale soon. Father Christmas will also join us and you can meet him with your Christmas list in his grotto.

On-Time Teds

This week’s Key Stage 1 winners are Year 2 with 3 late marks and in Key Stage 2 the winners are Year 5 with 2 late marks. Well done to both classes for being punctual.

A Message for Santa from Bike It Ben

Hello Santa, if you are delivering bikes to Middle Street children this year you may find it helpful to read the advice over the page. This will help you deliver the most suitable bike depending on the age of the child.

Lost

Rufus in Year 3 has lost his navy blue hooded top. It has an orange number 2 on the front and his name written on the inside tag. Please return to the school office, if found.

Thank You

We have received donations of some lovely books for our library. The donations are from Daphne Boyle, an ex parent, and Julie Holton a parent and member of staff. Thank you Daphne and Julie.

Winter Break

We finish for the Winter break on Thursday 20th December and return to school on Tuesday 8th January.
