Year 5 Dancing at the Dome

Year 5 are performing their dance at the Family Festival this evening. The Dome is hosting the festival. Years 5 performed their dance for Year 3 this morning and were absolutely brilliant! They have worked very hard over the last few weeks to perfect their dance moves. Clearly that hard work has had amazing results. Good luck and have fun Year 5.

School Dinners – World Cup Week

During the week beginning 20th Jun the school cook will be handing out stickers to each child who has a school dinner that week. Collect 5 stickers (one for each day of the week) and be entered into a draw to win a bike and a signed Brighton and Hove Albion football. Children will be given a card to collect their stickers on which they must be responsible for it’s safekeeping.

Year 2 Assembly

Year 2 are very excited as they are performing in their class assembly next Tuesday (15th June). Year 2 parents and carers are invited in to watch. Please be seated for assembly to begin at 9.10 am.

On Time Teds

This week the winners in Key Stage 1 are Reception with 3 late marks. In Key Stage 2 the winners are Year 5 with 4 late marks. Well done to both classes!

Congratulations to….

Tyus Thiruchelvam in Year 3 for achieving his 50m and 200 m swimming award. Tyus has moved up to level 5! Well done Tyus!

5 on a Midnight Walk

Louise Gladwin, Joanne Smith, Juliet Walters, Debbie Bartelds and Isidora Valenzula are all taking part in the Midnight Walk in aid of the Martletts Hospice. These ‘Middle Street mamas’ are hoping you will help by donating to their cause. They will be walking 13 miles while you are all tucked up in bed. Please contribute whatever you can afford. Full Governors Meeting

The full governing body will be attending their summer term meeting on Thursday 17th June.

Summer Celebration

The PTA in collaboration with the school are holding a summer afternoon tea and celebration on Thursday 15th July following the open afternoon. More information to follow very soon.

School closes for the summer holidays at 3.05 pm on Thursday 22nd July

We open again for the new academic year on Monday 6th September.
