Year 3 Performing at Family Festival

On Tuesday evening Year 3 performed their Stomp dance brilliantly at the Blatchington Mill Family Festival. The children’s skills, professionalism and behaviour were praised by all. Well done Year 3!

Year 1 Assembly

We really enjoyed Year One’s assembly. It included singing and chanting and a song in Portuguese. Their performance was great fun and very professional. Well done Year 1.

Year 2 Visit

Year 2 enjoyed an interesting and informative visit to a local Synagogue. The visit informs part of their current RE topic.

Blackberry Farm

Nursery and Reception are visiting Blackberry Farm at this very moment as I write. I am sure they are having a great day with this lovely weather making the day even more enjoyable.

Little Canada

Year 6 are leaving to visit Little Canada on the Isle of Wight today. They are all set for an active weekend.

Open Afternoon

will take place on Friday 21st July from 2.00pm. You are invited in to class to spend time with your child who will be talking about and sharing their work with you.

Health and Safety at the Beginning and End of the Day

I would like to remind you that unaccompanied children should not be on the school premises in the morning before 8.45 am unless they are at Breakfast Club. This is because there is no adult supervision in the playground before this time. I would also like to remind you that children should not be using the climbing frames in the small playground at the end of the school day. We must ask parents/carers to ensure their children are not climbing on the frames or any other structures in the playground after school. If you are going to be late collecting your child please inform the office and we will ensure your child is taken to the Family Room to wait safely for you. Teachers are in the playgrounds at the end of the day and if they see children behaving inappropriately or climbing where they shouldn’t they will be spoken to very firmly. Please help us to keep your child safe.

Musical Celebration

We will be holding our annual Musical Celebration on Friday 7th July at 9.30. If you would like to join us please let the office know so we can have an idea of numbers.

Main Gate

When you leave the school please ensure the main gate has closed properly.

Class Photos

Please return orders and payment for class photos at the latest by 10th July.

End of Term

We finish for the summer break on Wednesday 26th July and open again for the new term on Wednesday 6th September.
