We’ve been awash in a sea of red, white and blue today! I am writing this before this afternoon’s events begin but I am sure you will all have a lovely time at the party. The children have enjoyed making sandwiches and the bunting for the event. Those children whose parents couldn’t make it to the street party will have taken part in party activities in school, so no one has missed out on the fun. Thank you to all those parents and carers who have donated cakes or been in to help prepare for the party. Your help has been greatly appreciated. I am sure you will join me in thanking Mrs Denyer who has organised the whole event and managed to have Boyces Street closed for the afternoon so the street party could take place in an actual street. Well done Mrs Denyer
