Cuddle Me Do

We were very excited this morning when the animals arrived. Several members of staff helped the farmer prepare the pens for animals and were eager to have a quick cuddle. We even had a little Shetland pony who was completely unfazed by all the fuss. Every class had the opportunity to visit the animals and talk to the farmer. Playtimes took place in the front playground to avoid worrying the animals and also because they are very young animals they needed a little nap in the middle of the day. Ahhhhhhhh, so cute!

Middle Street Farm

As part of our science and maths investigations week a farm will magically appear in the main playground on Friday. There will be a selection of animals at school for each class to visit and pet. They will be accompanied by a handler who can talk to the children about the animals and their care. The animals will be in the playground from first thing Friday morning so the entrance in Middle Street will not be open on Friday. Everyone should enter the school from the main gate in Boyce’s street on that day. Please could you help us by reminding children about remaining calm and sensible when looking at the animals. We would appreciate a £1 donation towards the cost of the farm visit. Thank you
