Our Lovely Caretaker is Retiring

Marie Spencer our wonderful caretaker will be retiring at the end of the term in July. Marie has worked at the school as a cleaner and then as our caretaker for 18 years. More information on Marie’s retirement to follow.

I am very pleased and excited to tell you that Mr Collins has been short-listed for a Teaching Award. He is one of three regional finalists and will attend the award ceremony in June. On Tuesday 2 teaching award judges visited the school to meet with various adults and children to discuss Mr Collins nomination. At the end of the day the judges had beaming smiles on their faces and said what a very brilliant school Middle Street is. They loved everything about it but had particular praise for the confident happy children they met during their time in school. Both judges were extremely impressed so well done to all!
